I don’t even know where to start introducing this upcoming kit. The first time I saw it, it felt like a greatest-hits album of China’s plastic model kit industry—every advancement they’ve made in recent years, rolled into a single masterpiece. I can see the DNA of many great kits in its design, yet it doesn’t lose an ounce of originality.

Honestly, I hesitated for a moment. The sheer size is intimidating. Do I even have space for the finished build? Do you have the space? But then I thought—who cares! The design looks absolutely killer, and there’s no way I’m going to miss this. I’m bringing it in, no matter what.

Mecha Concept

The Colada is built around a lightweight core body paired with a detachable armament system called the “Oath” Armament System (“誓约”), designed to operate both independently and in combined forms. It features two primary combat configurations:

• Assault Mode – a high-speed strike form using fixed armaments for rapid thrust-and-retreat attacks, unleashing overwhelming firepower in an instant. (Weapons: shoulder energy launchers, micro high-explosive missiles, fixed shield-blades)
• Close-Combat Mode – a melee-focused form built around variable composite weapons, relying on slashing strikes, pursuit daggers, and a massive combined sword for decisive one-hit finishes. (Weapons: Type-X Combined Greatsword, autonomous pursuit daggers, guerrilla javelins)

The Colada’s body can separate from the OAS to switch tactics as the battle demands. In addition to its standard sidearm, it can wield the full arsenal of the OAS, with weapons that can recombine into multiple derivative forms—swords, spears, and more.
