However, reality mercilessly shattered his faith—his squad was betrayed by the very army they served, discarded as pawns in a power struggle. His comrades met a tragic end, but refusing to surrender, BAKI awakened in the face of despair. Defying fate, he fled from the military, forever branded a “deserter.”

What happened to Baki’s color?

That day, Baki stepped into an arena he had never entered before.

Stronger, faster, and far more brutal opponents pushed him to the edge.

Blood and sweat soaked through his armour. His cybernetic body screamed under the strain of overload, while even the air warped and burned from the speed of his movements.

Then, he broke through his limits.

The empathic energy suppressed within him burst forth like a breached dam, instantly exceeding the machine’s thermal shutdown threshold.

Under the extreme heat, the coating across his armour oxidised, cracked, and peeled away layer by layer.

What emerged beneath was neither silver nor grey, but a beautiful, pure white.

Those in the underground arena would later call it “Snow-White Ash.”

It was not a new coat of paint.

It was the possibility of a future, left behind after he had burned through everything he once was.
