Hemoxian was actually my first love, so much so that I'm rooting for this company to become the Bandai of China. I've met the team personally and have been carrying their products since the days of Tastier.

Two words: DIESEL PUNK.

I'm a sucker for this kind of setting. But what really caught my attention was the story behind it.

So, a little background before we get to the model kit...

RUSTED BRIER — THE WORLDVIEW

The devil's bait doesn't always come in the form of a poisoned apple.

In a world much like ours, but one that has taken a different path, the air is thick with the choking smell of diesel.

Humanity stands at the edge of iron and blood when an expedition team discovers something extraordinary deep underground: a silicon-based giant known as Ymir (English name TBC).

This discovery threatens the fragile balance between two powerful nations — the Chester Empire and the Brist Alliance (English names TBC).

Using technology derived from Ymir, both sides develop ways to mechanically enhance the human body, quickly turning their discoveries into weapons of war.

Separated by vast oceans, the two powers nevertheless find themselves locked in conflict over competing interests. As the war spreads, smaller nations are dragged into the fighting.

And caught in the middle are young girls, forced onto operating tables and transformed into half-human, half-machine combat units designed for one purpose: killing.

They are known as THM — Tactical Hybrid Units (English name TBC).

Weapons capable of reshaping civilisation, yet also among the most tragic victims of this war.

Among them is Rhande Koskinen.

Having survived countless modification experiments, Rhande has fought her way through battlefields of fire and ash, alongside her transforming mecha.

People celebrate her as a hero, calling her the Steel Rose. They place her on a pedestal, sending her into the heart of a burning city.

But nobody ever stops to ask one simple question:

Who put that weapon in her hands in the first place?
